The red wine contains resveratrol, an antioxidant that cuts down the level of LDL or low density lipoprotein in our blood. As it has higher lipophilic and hydrophilic properties, so it is a more effective antioxidant than any other antioxidants like vitamins C and E. Though some raise question since most of the tests are done in laboratories or in vitro; it requires more research on humans and animals to determine whether resveratrol really helps.</p>
<p>Resveratrol is found in red grapes containing it in its skin. Resveratrol is found in Ko-jo-kon , a herbal medicine used in Asia for treating the diseases related to heart, blood vessels and liver. It drew scientific attention just few years ago and analogy is drawn with the habit of red wine drinking French people, who have fewer incidences of heart attacks. The French are famous for their consumption of fat rich diet and such habit elsewhere abets the heart ailments. Now it is thought resvereatrol present in red wine plays the trick. So, it is called &#8220;French Paradox&#8221; and much advertised by wine manufacturers.</p>
<p>Resveratrol is present in other plants like lily, eucalyptus, spruce and a fruit like mulberries and peanuts but it is abundantly found in Vitis vinifera, muscadine, labrusca grapes. Grapes of these varieties are used to manufacture wine. Though resveratrol is available in the grape vines, a seed, roots but the highest concentration of it is found in its skin. In wine red wine the presence of resveratrol depends on how long the grape&#8217;s skin is put through fermentation process. However, the presence of resveratrol in white wine is insignificant since the grape&#8217;s skin is removed for its preparation and so with the grape juice as that is not fermented.</p>
<p>Resveratrol is put under research to find its anti cancer properties. Studies have shown that it slowdowns tumor growth or initiation. Another significant characteristic found in resveratrol is its potential to minimize the toxicity in blood forming cells what deems to be anti cancer. More studies are required to be done using animal and human model.</p>
<p>Although several laboratories tests have shown that resveratrol is effective in reducing cardio vascular and cancerous disease but still it is too early to recommend its use widely. First of all, little is known about how resveratrol gets absorbed and its metabolic products or what effects it causes on liver. So far it is tested only in laboratories. </p>
<p>The incremental intake of red wine for more absorption of resveratrol may turn out to be more harmful for liver. Meanwhile, starving kids and dead mothers while bearing babies are increasing in massive number. Children who have to work under the gun and the pressure also still exist all around the globe. They need better treatment, better health care, better education, better diet, and also better affection. The adults in their countries are possibly cannot afford to give those luxury things to them. But you can, obviously. If you are called to help these people to get better health education, you could search for health education jobs announcements. People to work in medical field are needed around the world. Not only in the conflict area, are people who work in health education jobs needed in order to consult people in developing countries. People who works in health education jobs are needed to consult schools and institution to teach their public how to live healthy. Regardless their government political decisions, people are having the strict right to be healthy.
